DPM Expresses Satisfaction on Country’s Economic Performance

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting today to review the overall economic situation: The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Kiani, Special Assistant Tariq Bajwa, the Finance Secretary, the Chairman FBR, and his team.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance and FBR teams shared the statistics regarding the first quarter of the current financial year. The participants were also briefed about the recent discussions held with the visiting IMF Mission.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction on the performance of the economy despite disruptions caused by the floods.
