Dr Adibul Rizvi and team departs to help earthquake victims

Karachi, October 28, 2015 (PPI-OT): Under the leadership of Prof. Adibul Hassan Rizvi, a twelve member team of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) has reached Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital Mingora-Swat to help the earthquake effected people. The team includes Surgeons, Nephrologists, hepatologist, intensive care specialist and Technicians, will provide surgical support and intensive care management.

In the 2005 earthquake also, SIUT had provided relief in Abbottabad, Mansehra and Muzaffarabad, whereas at Muzaffarabad SIUT had set up a dialysis centre which is still working there for ten years and providing free of cost dialysis facilities to the patients of Azad Kashmir and adjoining areas.
