Karachi: Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Limited (DIBPL) has announced a strategic alliance with JazzCash, a prominent fintech company in Pakistan, to enhance the process of inland home remittances. The collaboration aims to provide digital financial solutions that allow international remittances to be directly sent to JazzCash accounts through DIBPL’s global network.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed at Dubai Islamic Bank’s Head Office, marking the beginning of this partnership. The agreement was attended by senior management from both organizations.
This initiative is designed to offer faster and more secure access to funds for customers, focusing on the freelance community in Pakistan. The partnership seeks to develop digital solutions that cater specifically to the needs of this growing segment.
Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz, CEO of DIBPL, emphasized the importance of providing inclusive financial solutions. He highlighted the collaboration’s potential to enhance accessibility and security in remittances and digital transactions.
Murtaza Ali, President of JazzCash, noted that the partnership would strengthen their existing services for freelancers. With a significant portion of Pakistan’s freelancers already using JazzCash, the collaboration is set to enhance cross-border transactions and provide more efficient payment solutions.
