OGDCL Partners with PMYP and NAVTTC to Boost Youth Empowerment in Pakistan

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has entered into a significant partnership with the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) to enhance youth empowerment initiatives across Pakistan.

The tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to implement a series of programs focused on vocational and technical training, job creation, sports development, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement. This collaboration falls under OGDCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility framework.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ahmed Hayat Lak, Managing Director and CEO of OGDCL, along with senior management from the company. Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Chairman of PMYP, and Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of NAVTTC, were also present at the event.

The initiative will prioritize underserved and remote communities, striving to connect young talent with opportunities to cultivate a skilled and inclusive workforce. The overarching goal is to prepare a future-ready Pakistan, equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in a competitive environment.
