ECC approves revised features of SMEs’ Asaan Finance

Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposed revised features of Small and Medium Enterprises’ Asaan Finance and its budgetary impacts.

The approval was given at a meeting of the Committee in Islamabad with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.

Considering the summary of Ministry of Industries and Production regarding Urea fertilizer requirement for Rabi season, the ECC decided to allow the SNGPL based plants to operate beyond 31st of this month till 15th October this year.

The Committee also decided to allow the issuance of gradual sovereign Guarantee for Chasma C-5 project within IMF program.

The Committee further allowed the extension of Financial Schemes of Kissan Package 2022, including provision of subsidy for interest-free loans for subsistence farmers in flood affected areas, PM’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme, Markup Subsidy and Risk Sharing scheme for Farm Mechanization and Interest Free Loan to landless farmers in the flood affected areas.
