Karachi: A high-level delegation from the Employers’ Federation of Pakistan (EFP), led by Mehmood Arshad, Board Member and Chairman of the EFP Economic Council, visited the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad to discuss initiatives aimed at developing trade. The delegation was welcomed by Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu and key embassy officials.
According to Employers’ Federation of Pakistan, both parties expressed interest in collaborating to enhance bilateral trade. The Turkish officials showed enthusiasm for EFP’s proposals, specifically joint trade promotion activities between Pakistan and Türkiye. The embassy was receptive to EFP’s strategies, indicating readiness to advance plans.
The EFP Economic Council is set to present its research findings and trade enhancement recommendations in a meeting scheduled for Monday. The Turkish Embassy will participate via Zoom to further refine the initiatives.
This meeting represents a significant step in strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and Türkiye, with collaboration expected to lead to important developments in trade relations.
