Engro and USAID join hands to install milk chillers in Sindh and Punjab – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi, June 28, 2012 (PPI-OT): Engro Foods and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have joined hands to install 60 milk chillers throughout northern Sindh and southern Punjab (districts of Larkana, Shikarpur, Dadu, Khairpur, Naushero Feroze, Ghotki, Muzaffargarh and Layyah) by July 2013.

According to Alfalah Securities Limited, each milk chiller would have a storage capacity of up to 1,000 liter. The initiative being taken by USAID and Engro Foods would result in increasing employment in these districts thus allowing them to improve their standard of living. Alfalah Securities Limited believes that the above initiative would have a minimal positive impact on Engro Foods profitability.
