Karachi: The foreign currency exchange rates for February 1, 2025, showed slight movements, with the US dollar, euro, and British pound experiencing minor fluctuations against the Pakistani rupee.
According to a statement by Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar was traded at 278.89 for buying and 280.79 for selling. The euro saw a buying rate of 288.93 and a selling rate of 291.43. Meanwhile, the British pound was exchanged at 345.64 for buying and 348.67 for selling.
The Japanese yen, Arab Emirates dirham, and Saudi riyal also exhibited changes in their rates. The yen was priced at 1.77 for buying and 1.82 for selling. The dirham was listed at 76.01 for buying and 76.50 for selling. The riyal was traded at 74.30 for buying and 74.75 for selling.
These figures reflect the dynamic nature of currency exchange in the region, impacting traders and businesses engaged in international transactions.
