Exchange Rates Hold Steady Amid Economic Uncertainty

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) on Tuesday released the latest open market closing exchange rates, revealing slight fluctuations in currency values against the Pakistani Rupee.

The United States Dollar was reported at a buying rate of 281.81 and a selling rate of 282.25. Meanwhile, the Euro stood at a buying rate of 329.05 and a selling rate of 332.47.

The British Pound was recorded at a buying rate of 379.20 and a selling rate of 382.86. The Japanese Yen saw minor movements with a buying rate of 1.85 and a selling rate of 1.91.

Among Gulf currencies, the United Arab Emirates Dirham was listed at a buying rate of 76.77 and a selling rate of 77.47, while the Saudi Riyal was quoted at a buying rate of 75.05 and a selling rate of 75.63.

These rates come amidst ongoing economic challenges, with market participants closely monitoring currency trends. The data was sourced from the State Bank of Pakistan.
