Exchange Rates in Pakistan Experience Noticeable Shifts

Karachi: Exchange rates for several major currencies in Pakistan have experienced shifts, as reported by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan. The association’s latest data shows variations in the buying and selling rates of prominent foreign currencies, reflecting changes in the interbank market.

The US Dollar is currently being bought at 280.88 PKR and sold at 281.45 PKR. This marks a slight increase from the interbank rates, which are at 280.40 PKR for buying and 280.60 PKR for selling. The Euro has seen its buying rate set at 326.54 PKR and its selling rate at 329.35 PKR.

In other currency movements, the British Pound is being bought at 373.90 PKR and sold at 377.14 PKR. The Japanese Yen has its buying rate at 1.78 PKR and selling rate at 1.84 PKR, indicating minor fluctuations. The United Arab Emirates Dirham stands at a buying rate of 76.55 PKR and a selling rate of 77.29 PKR. Meanwhile, the Saudi Riyal is being bought at 74.80 PKR and sold at 75.38 PKR.

These figures indicate that the exchange rates are susceptible to change, reflecting the dynamic nature of the currency market in Pakistan. The data serves as a critical reference for businesses and individuals engaged in foreign exchange transactions.
