Exchange Rates Steady as Dollar Holds Value Against Pakistani Rupee

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported the closing exchange rates for major currencies in the open market as of May 26, 2025, indicating a stable trend in currency values. The U.S. dollar was listed at 283.01 for buying and 284.29 for selling.

The euro was marked at 322.14 for buying and 324.99 for selling, while the British pound stood at 383.62 for buying and 387.01 for selling. The Japanese yen was priced at 1.94 for buying and 1.99 for selling.

In addition, the United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi riyal were listed at 77.14 and 75.45 for buying, and 77.55 and 75.85 for selling, respectively.

The data, sourced from the State Bank of Pakistan, reflects the current market conditions and provides insights into the currency exchange dynamics in the country.
