KIBOR Rates Reflect Stability in Short-Term Lending Market

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan released its latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) figures, showing a steady trend in short-term lending rates as of May 26, 2025. The data indicates minimal fluctuations in the bid and offer rates over different tenors, suggesting a stable market environment.

The KIBOR rates for one-week and two-week tenors stood at a bid of 10.93 and an offer of 11.43. The one-month tenor showed a slight increase with a bid of 10.95 and an offer of 11.45.

For the three-month tenor, the bid and offer rates were recorded at 11.11 and 11.36, respectively. The six-month rates were marginally higher, with a bid of 11.13 and an offer of 11.38.

In longer-term lending, the nine-month and one-year tenors displayed a bid rate of 11.13 and 11.12, respectively. The offer rates for these periods were 11.63 and 11.62.
