Executive director national vocational and technical training commission for upgrading its website

Islamabad, January 08, 2014 (PPI-OT): Executive Director National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Capt. Tariq Masud (Retd) has directed the Management of Information System (MIS) Section of NAVTTC to upgrade the website.

He nominated Focal Person each from the operational wings who would provide data of their wings with the approval of concerned Director General. The data should be based on facts and figures and well documented. He further proposed salient features and all stake holders’ links for incorporation in website.

NAVTTC is a TVET apex body of the country therefore every required data for promotion of Technical andVocational Education and Training (TVET) in the country must be available for all concerned on the website.

Website should be in bi-lingual i.e. in English and Urdu. It should be the best source of information, education and guidance for all stake holders of TVET particularly for an easy access to the marginalized sections of the society as well as less educated jobless youth of the country.

Moreover NAVTTC’s website must reflect the present government’s programs and policies about youth development prominently, asserted Executive Director while taking a briefing from MIS Section.

He further added that MIS Section, itself, would upgrade the website therefore millions of rupees from national exchequer will be saved as a step towards self reliance. All Officers of NAVTTC Headquarters participated in the briefing and gave their valuable suggestions and inputs.

The Executive Director appreciated their proposals. In the light of briefing and suggestions, Executive Director directed MIS Section to complete up gradation of the website within 10 days positively.
