Federal Interior Minister Praises Punjab CTD for Thwarting Terrorism in Dera Ghazi Khan

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for thwarting a planned terrorist attack in Dera Ghazi Khan. The operation targeted members of the terrorist group Fitna Al Khawarij.

According to Press Information Department, the Interior Minister highlighted the swift and effective actions of the Punjab CTD in an intelligence-based operation that neutralized two terrorists of Fitna Khawarij and prevented their planned attack. He commended the entire team for their dedication and professional conduct in defeating what he described as the evil intentions of the terrorists.

The minister emphasized that the Punjab CTD has consistently been successful in countering threats from Fitna Al Khawarij and remains a critical frontline force in the national fight against terrorism. He expressed pride in the bravery and professionalism of the Punjab CTD personnel, calling them a valuable asset in ensuring national security.
