Federal Minister Pays Tribute to Martyrs at Karachi Naval Cemetery

Karachi: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh, alongside Chairman KPT Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi, Rear Admiral Habib, and other Naval officers, visited the Naval Cemetery in Karachi to honor the martyrs of Pakistan. The visit, which included the laying of a floral wreath at the gravesites, marked the commemoration of the sacrifices made during the conflict on September 6, 1965, a pivotal moment in defending the nation’s sovereignty.

According to Press Information Department, the Minister during his visit highlighted the historical significance of the day and the valiant efforts of the armed forces in the 1965 conflict. He remarked on the nation’s unwavering support for its martyrs and the profound impact of their sacrifices, which was reflected in a solemn moment of reflection held during the ceremony.
