Public Holiday Declared Nationwide for Eid Milad-un-Nabi on September 17

Islamabad: In celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the Federal Government has declared September 17, corresponding to 12th Rabi’ul-Awwal, as a public holiday across Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the announcement was made through a press release issued by the Cabinet Division earlier today, allowing citizens to observe the birth of the Prophet Muhammad with appropriate reverence and participation.
