Federal Minister Sets Deadline for F-8 Jinnah Avenue Project Completion

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the F-8 Jinnah Avenue Interchange project in Islamabad, inspecting the finishing work on the under-construction flyover. During his visit, he set a deadline for the project to be fully completed by February 18.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Interior Minister emphasized the need for swift completion of all components of the project, with particular attention to the connecting roads and landscaping. He met with workers at the site, acknowledging their efforts and encouraging them to maintain their dedication as they work round the clock to meet the deadline.

The Minister ordered the immediate removal of debris from the site and noted that any shortcomings in the beautification work would be unacceptable. He instructed that the work on the connecting roads beneath the flyover be expedited.

Several key officials were present during the visit, including Federal Secretary of Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha, Chairman CDA Mohammad Ali Randhawa, IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon, contractors, and other relevant officials. The project director provided the Minister with a briefing on the project’s progress.
