Federal, Sindh Govts Agree to Work Together for Development of Coastal Areas

Karachi: Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry had a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today. During the meeting, they decided to work together for development of Karachi’s coastal area and control marine pollution.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two officials also agreed to accelerate the S-3 project to reduce marine pollution. Additionally, they planned to initiate an eco-tourism project, which will enable tourists to visit the mangrove area by boat, promoting sustainable tourism in the region.
