Karachi, The Fertilizer sector experienced a noticeable decline in its market index despite a significant trading volume and value. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the sector’s market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 739,336,417,030 with a traded value of Rs. 767,843,381.91. The Fertilizer sector’s index fell from 24,637.89 to 24,365.42, marking a decrease of 272.47 points. The sector accounted for 7.258% of the total market capitalization and 1.392% of the total turnover, indicating its pivotal role in the trading activity for the day.
