Tehran: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran today. During this meeting, Field Marshal Munir paid tribute to the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, acknowledging his contributions to Iran.
According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Asim Munir visited Tehran to participate in the final funeral rites of Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Following the funeral prayers, Field Marshal Munir departed for home.
Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, along with senior civil and military officials, was present to bid farewell to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as he concluded his visit.
