Finance Minister Acknowledges UK Support for Pakistan’s Socio-Economic Growth

Islamabad: Federal Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for International Development, Baroness Chapman.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister expressed his gratitude to Baroness Chapman for the United Kingdom’s enduring partnership with Pakistan. He appreciated the UK’s ongoing support for Pakistan’s socio-economic development initiatives.

During the meeting, the Finance Minister emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to implementing digital reforms. He highlighted the significance of minimizing direct interaction between tax collectors and taxpayers through technological advancements, aiming to enhance efficiency and transparency in tax collection processes.
