Finance Minister directs to immediately release Funds to provinces against Workers Welfare Funds

Islamabad, January 19, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has taken notice of media reports that Employees of Worker Welfare Board in the provinces have not been paid salaries for the last two months due to lack of Funds.

The Finance Minister has taken notice of the matter and directed the Federal Finance Secretary to release Funds to the provinces against Workers Welfare Funds immediately and ensure that they are transferred to the provinces by Monday, January 20, 2014.
