Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb reaffirmed the government’s commitment to achieving sustained economic growth through an export-led strategy during discussions with the Dutch Ambassador, Henny de Vries, in the capital.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Finance Minister outlined the government’s economic plan and reform agenda aimed at fostering economic growth and maintaining fiscal sustainability. The conversation also addressed Pakistan’s challenges with climate change, with Aurangzeb emphasizing efforts in climate financing and building resilience through sustainable solutions.

Ambassador de Vries recognized the structural reforms underway in Pakistan’s economic and financial sectors and expressed support for enhancing trade and commerce between Pakistan and the European Union.
