Finance Minister Praises Pak-Kuwait Investment Company for Economic Contributions in Islamabad Meeting

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb praised the Pak-Kuwait Investment Company (PKIC) for its significant impact on Pakistan’s economy during a meeting held in Islamabad today. The discussions focused on joint ventures and the importance of ongoing cooperation to boost economic effectiveness.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation from PKIC met with the Finance Minister to explore avenues for collaboration and to reinforce their support for Pakistan’s economic initiatives. During the meeting, Minister Aurangzeb highlighted the importance of PKIC’s efforts in integrating Islamic finance into its operations, which he noted were in line with the country’s development goals.

Managing Director of PKIC, Saad-ur-Rehman Khan, detailed the company’s initiatives within the real estate sector, particularly its use of Islamic finance structures to support major infrastructure projects. The minister’s commendation of PKIC underscored the company’s role in strategically enhancing Pakistan’s economic landscape through innovative financial solutions.
