Finance Minister urges for closer collaboration b/w EXIM Banks of Pakistan, US

Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with President of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of the United States, Ms. Reta Jo Lewis in Washington.

The Finance Minister urged for closer collaboration between the EXIM Banks of Pakistan and the United Sates.

He welcomed the EXIM Bank’s interest in Pakistan’s energy, minerals, and IT sectors and assured the provision of necessary data to facilitate the Bank’s evaluation of entry into Pakistan’s market.

The Finance Minister also sought clarification on the US nexus requirements for goods and services financed or insured by the EXIM Bank.
