First Lady lauds Radio’s role for creating awareness among masses about cancer

The First Lady Samina Alvi has lauded the role of radio for creating awareness amongst the masses about causes, symptoms and cure of cancer.

She was addressing a dialogue titled “Interactive Dialogue on Breast Cancer, Disabilities & Mental health issues at Muzaffarabad Medical College on Wednesday.

Samina Alvi said that a radio program of 5 to 10 minutes duration will be very effective in creating mass awareness about cancer.

She lauded the role of WHO in augmenting every government effort in the health sector.
