Five Legislative Bills Proposed in Senate

Islamabad: Five bills were introduced in the Senate today.

According to Radio Pakistan, these legislative proposals include ‘The National Commission on the Status of Women (Amendment) Bill, 2025’, ‘The National Commission for Human Rights (Amendment) Bill, 2025’, ‘The Pakistan Penal Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025’, ‘The Islamabad Healthcare Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2025’, and ‘The Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (Amendment of Article 27 of the Constitution).’

The Chair has referred these bills to the respective Standing Committees for further deliberation and review. This move is part of the legislative process to ensure thorough examination and discussion of the proposed amendments.
