Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has announced the observance of Yaum-e-Tameer-o-Tarraqi on the eighth of the next month. Addressing a function in Islamabad today, he emphasized that high achievers in various fields will be recognized and awarded on this day, along with other planned activities.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister discussed the country’s political situation, revealing that negotiations are ongoing between political parties to achieve stability. He underscored that both political and economic stability are crucial for advancing the country towards development and prosperity.
Furthermore, the Minister announced that Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy this year, with final arrangements being made to ensure a successful event. He remarked that hosting the ICC Champions Trophy is a source of national pride and will enhance Pakistan’s global image.
