According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the flood occurred on October 7, 2024, due to heavy rainfall sweeping through the area. Six-year-old Waqas, son of Said Rasool, lost his life in the floodwaters. Meanwhile, Ghulam Hazrat, son of Arman Khel, sustained injuries during the incident. The report stresses the need for increased preparedness and safety measures to protect vulnerable communities from such natural disasters.
