Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Condemns Karachi Airport Blast, Vows to Fight Terrorism

Lahore: In response to a recent terrorist attack near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, expressed her strong condemnation of the act, which resulted in the loss of three lives and left several injured. She assured the nation of her government’s unwavering resolve to combat terrorism.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab announcement issued on 07 October 2024, Chief Minister Sharif extended her deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and wished a prompt recovery for the injured. She emphasized that such acts of violence could not undermine the spirit of the Pakistani people. “The whole nation is united to eradicate the scourge of terrorism, which will be done soon, God willing,” she stated, reaffirming her commitment to ensuring national security and public safety.

Sharif’s message underlines the government’s determination to strengthen counter-terrorism measures and prevent future incidents, ensuring that peace and stability prevail across the country.
