Flow of water in rivers of Punjab normal: PDMA Spokesman

The spokesman of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab says the flow of water in the rivers of Punjab is normal.

He said an increase in the water level has been recorded in Sutlej River due to recent rains.

Meanwhile, Director General of the PDMA Imran Qureshi said the rehabilitation measures are underway in Sutlej river flood-affected areas.

He said 595 villages were affected by the flood, business life has been completely restored in 171 villages.

Imran Qureshi said food, clean water, medicines and other facilities are being provided to the flood affectees.
