Foreign Investment in Pakistan Rising with SIFC’s Support

Lahore: There is a significant increase in foreign investment in Pakistan due to the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

According to Radio Pakistan, China has invested 1,028.6 million dollars in the energy, infrastructure, transport, and industrial sectors. This influx of investment highlights the growing economic ties between the two countries and underscores China’s commitment to Pakistan’s development.

In addition to China, investors from the United States and Britain have also expressed confidence in the Pakistani economy. The US has contributed 111.1 million dollars, while British investments amount to 215.6 million dollars. These investments indicate a positive outlook from Western investors regarding Pakistan’s economic potential.

The economy is moving towards growth, driven by the increase in foreign direct investment. This upward trend in investment is expected to bolster various sectors and contribute to the overall economic stability of the country.
