Interior Minister Orders Traffic Plan for Faizabad Interchange Project

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Faizabad Interchange and reviewed the traffic flow. On the occasion, he directed the formulation of an effective traffic management plan ahead of the launch of the Faizabad Interchange Remodeling Project.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi stated that the Faizabad Interchange connects Rawalpindi with the federal capital and serves as the main entry point to Islamabad. He stressed that the interchange should be developed in such a way that it gives people a strong sense of entering Islamabad. He said it must become a stunning and iconic landmark.

The Interior Minister instructed that the adjoining area should be transformed with beautiful landscaping. He also directed for the interchange to be widened further to enhance traffic flow.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa was also present on the occasion.
