Islamabad: The Foreign Office has raised concerns about Indian extraterritorial and extrajudicial killings inside Pakistan, as disclosed during a weekly briefing.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that the issue is not confined to Pakistan alone, as India’s network of extraterritorial killings and abductions has extended globally, prompting concern from other nations.
The spokesperson emphasized Pakistan’s desire for friendly relations with its neighbors, including Afghanistan, and highlighted the existence of a robust dialogue mechanism with the country. She affirmed that Pakistan intends to continue discussions on all aspects of bilateral relations, particularly focusing on security and border management. Additionally, Baloch assured that Pakistan is fully prepared to defend its national security and sovereignty against any threats.
In response to inquiries regarding Gwadar port, developed with Chinese support, the spokesperson clarified that the port’s purpose is for the development of Pakistan. She firmly stated that Pakistan has no intention of offering military bases to any foreign government or entity.
