Forest department official killed in IOK

Srinagar, August 24, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, unidentified gunmen killed an official of forest department in Baramulla district. The gunmen barged into the house of the forest official Tariq Ahmed Malik (38) at Zandpal Kunzer in Tangmarg area of the district and fired upon him. “In this incident, Tariq Ahmed sustained critical bullet wounds and later succumbed to his injuries,” a police spokesman claimed.

On the other hand, several persons were injured after Indian forces’ personnel used brute force and fired teargas shells on protesters during a cordon and search operation in Tral. Meanwhile, the personnel of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operations Group (SOG) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a joint cordon and search operation (CASO) at Kokernag in Islamabad district early this morning. The occupation authorities continued to suspend Train service for the third consecutive day, today, in the Kashmir Valley.
