Four persons including three women killed, eight injured in Rajouri mishap

Srinagar, July 05, 2023 (PPI-OT): Four passengers including three women died while eight others sustained critical injuries in a road accident in Rajouri district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Twelve passengers were travelling in the vehicle which fell into a deep gorge on Thanamnadi-Bhangai road in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Three of them died on spot, while one more succumbed to injuries at sub-district hospital Thanamnadi, police official said. The four deceased were identified as Shamim Akhtar, Rubina Kouser, Zarina Begum and Muhammad Younis. The eight critically injured passengers were identified as Shaheen Begum, Zaitoon Begum, Shaheen Begum, Begum Jaan, Fatima Begum, Suriya Begum, Kulsoom Begum and Muhammad Qasim. They were referred to the Government Medical College Associated Hospital in Rajouri.
