FPCCI hails Constitution of Sindh Industrial Liaison Committee

Karachi, July 11, 2019 (PPI-OT): Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai, President and Noor Ahmed Khan, Vice President of Federation of Pakistan, Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) in a press release issued today have appreciated Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister and Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, Chief Secretary of Sindh for constituting a broad based 28 members “Industrial Liaison Committee (ILC)”, under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh and consisting of the Secretaries / Senior Officials of all the important Departments / Agencies and representatives of Sindh based Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Associations of Trade and Industry. They also hailed the decision of nominating Noor Ahmed Khan, Vice President, FPCCI as Coordinator of the Committee.

They elaborated, “The objective of the Committee is to resolve issues confronted by Trade and Industry; take effective measures for their earlier resolution and facilitating the business community with a view to increase economic activity in the province”. The Committee would hold meetings on quarterly basis, they added. They hoped that the Committee would go a long way in facilitating the business community members in undertaking hassle-free business activities in Sindh province and improving ranking in ease of doing business.
