Islamabad: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is inviting applications for the pre-qualification of workshops and authorized agents of manufacturers for the repair and maintenance of its vehicles for the fiscal year 2024-2025. This initiative, conducted under the latest public procurement regulations, aims to enhance the quality and reliability of services provided to the FPSC’s transport fleet.
According to Federal Public Service Commission, the pre-qualification process will be managed through the PPRA E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS), ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory standards. Interested parties are required to submit their applications by September 25, 2024, and must meet specific eligibility criteria, including registration with tax authorities, proven experience in vehicle maintenance, and the ability to immediately commence work upon referral.
The criteria for selection include demonstrating a history of successful vehicle maintenance services, possessing the necessary technical equipment and resources, and having a business setup within Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Applicants must also provide a bid security of Rs. 50,000 and an affidavit stating that they have not been blacklisted by any government or public sector organization.
The FPSC emphasizes that this pre-qualification process is critical to ensuring that its vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, reflecting the commission’s commitment to operational excellence and public accountability. The successful workshops will need to adhere strictly to the terms specified in the work orders, with penalties in place for any damages incurred during maintenance.
