Funeral Prayer Held for Major Haseeb Shaheed in Rawalpindi.

RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayer for Major Muhammad Haseeb Shaheed, who was martyred while defending the nation in Harnai district of Balochistan, was held at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the solemn ceremony was attended by Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, along with other senior military and civil officials, officers, soldiers, and family members of the Shaheed.

During the ceremony, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the significant sacrifices made by dedicated officers and soldiers in the ongoing efforts to protect the country from terrorism. He reiterated that these sacrifices showcase an unwavering commitment to the nation’s security.

General Syed Asim Munir further stated that the nation remains united in support of the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies in their struggle against Fitna al-Khawarij and those who support it.
