Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, employees of the Power Development Corporation (PDC) sub-division in Kangan area of Gandarbal district took to the streets in protest, demanding the release of their salaries, withheld for over three months.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the aggrieved workers complained that the authorities have delayed their payments without issuing any formal notice or order. The protesting workers said multiple attempts have been made to resolve the issue, including appeals to local leaders and officials. The non-payment of the salaries has created widespread frustration among the employees.
The stalemate continues to escalate, with employees planning further demonstrations if their salaries are not released promptly.
