GB Government Establishes Provincial Emergency Operations Center

Islamabad: The Gilgit-Baltistan government has established a Provincial Emergency Operations Center to effectively deal with natural disasters and emergencies.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Home Department of Gilgit-Baltistan has announced that the center will remain functional 24 hours a day from tomorrow until August 30. This initiative will be based at the GBDMA headquarters in Munawar, Gilgit, and aims to enhance the region’s response capabilities during crises.

The establishment of this center underscores the government’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens and ensuring timely and coordinated responses to unforeseen events.
