Seminar on Indus Waters Treaty to Be Held in Islamabad Today

Islamabad: An international seminar on the Indus Waters Treaty will be held in Islamabad today to highlight Pakistan’s water rights under the treaty.

According to Radio Pakistan, the seminar will deliberate on various aspects of the Indus Waters Treaty. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar will address the opening session of the seminar. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik, and Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters Syed Mehar Ali Shah will also address the seminar. The closing session will be addressed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
