GHQ Hosts Defence and Martyrs’ Day Ceremony with Prime Minister and Army Chief in Attendance

Rawalpindi: A special ceremony to honor the martyrs and their families is currently taking place at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in connection with Defence and Martyrs Day. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, serving as the chief guest, and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, along with other top civil and military officials, are present.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif participated actively in the ceremony by laying a floral wreath at the martyrs’ memorial and offering fateha. This annual event brings together leaders and dignitaries to pay respects to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
