Government Announces Petrol Price Freeze and Diesel Price Cuts

Islamabad: The government has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products for the upcoming fortnight.

According to Radio Pakistan, a notification from the Finance Division revealed that the price of petrol will remain unchanged. The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by three rupees, resulting in a new rate of 269.99 rupees per liter. Additionally, the price of light diesel oil has been lowered by 2.40 rupees, bringing it to 159.76 rupees per liter.

The new pricing adjustment includes a decrease in the price of superior kerosene oil, which has been reduced by 1.46 rupees, setting the new price at 178.81 rupees per liter. These revised prices are set to take effect starting Monday.
