Tariq Fazal Announces Closure of Utility Stores Corporation

Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has announced the closure of the Utility Stores Corporation across the country. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, the Minister emphasized that the rights of all USC employees have been fully protected under the directives of the Prime Minister.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that a consensus has been reached between the government and the USC employees’ union to provide a comprehensive severance package worth 28.2 billion rupees. This agreement aims to ensure that the transition following the closure of the USC is smooth and that employees are adequately compensated.
