Government Intensifies Crackdown on Power Pilferage

Islamabad: Relevant government departments are continuing their action against power pilferage. Over 28 million rupees were recovered and ninety-seven electricity thieves arrested across the country during the past week.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ongoing efforts to combat electricity theft have led to significant financial recoveries and arrests. The government remains committed to addressing this issue, which has been a persistent problem affecting the national grid and contributing to revenue losses.
