PM Welcomes Fitch’s Upgrade of Pakistan’s Economic Rating

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed approval of the recent upgradation of Pakistan’s economic rating by the global credit rating agency Fitch. He views this development as a testament to the country’s economic progress and the international community’s trust in Pakistan’s economic management.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted that Fitch’s decision to elevate Pakistan’s credit rating from CCC+ to B- is a positive sign. He noted that Fitch has classified Pakistan’s economy as stable, which marks a significant improvement.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the enhancement of Pakistan’s economic rating by an international institution like Fitch not only signifies economic progress but also boosts the global community’s trust in the country’s economic policies. He further stated that the current government is diligently working to achieve more advancements in the national economy.
