Karachi: In a bid to advance the IT sector, the government, in collaboration with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), has initiated several projects aimed at enhancing technological skills among the youth. The efforts include the launch of a new ICT training portal and potential nationwide expansion plans.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the government has introduced this portal to equip young individuals with skills in advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Cyber-security. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to provide hands-on experience in these critical areas.
Furthermore, the Chinese technology giant Huawei has expressed its support for these training programs and advanced technology initiatives. This collaboration could potentially enhance the quality and reach of the training efforts.
Plans are also underway to establish new training centers in Karachi, with discussions on extending similar programs across the country. These centers aim to be the cornerstone for nurturing a skilled workforce that can meet the demands of the evolving IT landscape.
