Govt Aims to Transform Agriculture Sector Through Youth Empowerment

Islamabad: Minister for National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has announced the government’s commitment to revolutionizing the agriculture sector by equipping the youth with contemporary knowledge and practical skills. This statement was made during a special send-off ceremony in Islamabad for 224 Pakistani agriculture graduates who are set to leave for China under the Prime Minister’s Special Capacity-Building Initiative.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of creating a modern, innovative, and climate-resilient agriculture sector. The strategy involves technology transfer and international collaboration, with a focus on learning from China’s success in agricultural transformation, which serves as an excellent model for Pakistan’s development efforts.
