Govt committed to achieve vision of Digital Pakistan: Shaza

Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima has reiterated the government’s commitment to achieve the vision of Digital Pakistan.

Speaking at the first digital national conference organized by the Global System for Mobile Communication Association, she explained the robust steps taken for digital transformation as per the instructions of the Prime Minister.

The Minister said the aim of digital technology is to digitalize the economy, governance and society by bridging the digital division between urban and rural areas.

The Minister of State informed the participants about the ongoing efforts for the development of information technology in the country, which resulted in a record increase in IT exports in the last financial year.

Shaza Fatima also highlighted the ongoing efforts to promote digital innovation and its infrastructure development which is a top priority of SIFC.
